Look, the two aforementioned Government-Sponsored-Agencies hold about half of
the 12 Trillion in Mortgages in the United States. In the last year, they have
suffered over 10 Billion dollars in loses. The bailout here will be in the
billions. The housing market will not improve in middle to late 2009 as I had
predicted. I do not see it improving until 2010 at the earliest.
Deals can be found now, but the reality is that in 2009, deals will be even
better if you want to purchase a home. The market is in a tailspin and will
continue for the near future. I am glad that I told my clients to get out when I
did. In 2005 and 2006, I recommended to my clients to sell because a correction
was coming. I envisioned a ten percent correction! I figured that it would be
small but that it was coming. Several did sell and reaped while others now can
not sell or would sell at a value far below what it was not two years.
Why is it that financial crisis' almost always take place during Republican
administrations? The Great Depression? The S&L Crisis, The Energy Crisis, The
Mortgage Loan Crisis? Unemployment is up, jobs are being lost inmass. Gas
prices, food prices are out of control. Why? First and foremost, we are spending
beyond our means. Our debt is so huge that our currency is losing value around
the world. We are spending so much for the military operations in Iraq. Why? We
were wrong. The primary reason we went in was to get the WMD's. The second was
destroy the link with Al Qaeda. There never were any and the link never existed.
Free Trade is code for taking good paying jobs overseas. Why destroy jobs
here and send them overseas? If America has the strongest economy in the world,
why must we compete? The lifting of trade barriers only serves the
multi-national corporations. You want to protect good paying jobs? Protect them
by raising tariffs. If we are so concerned about shoddy goods coming from China,
revoke it's "Most Favored Nation" status and have that economy pay tariffs.
Remember, you get what you pay for and if all you want is cheap, just don't do
anything and keep going to Wal Mart. Where does all the money you spend on your
necessities go? Overseas. Tariffs keep the money here, at home. If the overseas
companies want to compete, why not come to America and build here, create jobs
and send it back home?
You know why food prices are sky high? Ethanol baby. The Republican tact to
move us to Ethanol from corn is killing us and the world right now. We are
paying so much for corn to produce Ethanol that prices are skyrocketing in this
give away of public funds. It actually costs more to make ethanol. Ethanol is
better for the environment but you spend more to refine it than you do for oil.
Yes, I know it is a jumbled mess. I am pissed at yet another government
take-over.
Yet another loser. Hideki Irabu, the phenomenon from Japan that went to the
Yankees in 1997 attacks a bartender! Loser
here.
Damn it! I just found out . . . Scarlett is marrying Ryan Reynolds. Ryan
Reynolds? That bastard. I am gonna go play Sim City and destroy New York. We'll
see if they can find a place to marry now . . . THAT bastard.

First, it was
Anna Kournikova. We kinda dreamed about Natalie Portman in 2006 - Well, Bam
did. In 2007, it was
Scarlett Johansson. We had two submissions for Noriega Girl 2008 -
Eva Mendez and Megan Fox. Yes, there is no doubt she would - could have been our
choice. Megan Fox? Are you kidding? Why are we even discussing this? Too bad, it
is our choice and after the many submissions, we just went against the grain and
we share with you our choice for NORIEGA GIRL 2008:
Emma Watson.
Enjoy.
This wonderful little beauty is only 18! Intelligent and Gorgeous? Born in
France and heroine in the Harry Potter World!
And in her little triangle of friends, she is the smartest one! We look
forward to the next Harry Potter movies and who knows as the roles she will have
after the HP movies! We wish you all the best and look forward to what is to
come.
We expected to name her in preparation for the next Harry Potter movie set to
premiere in November of this year, but alas, her movie was moved to July 2009.
We still bask in our selection and we look forward to enjoying the year. 2009
Noriega Girl is to be named in August. Send us your e-mails here:

Seems that presidential candidate John McCain calls Social Security a
disgrace and yet he is still receiving his monthly pension in the amount of:
$1929.75 (2007 figure based on total received of: $23157.00).
Americans have got to
understand that we are paying present-day retirees
with the taxes paid by young workers in America
today. And that’s a disgrace. It’s an absolute
disgrace and it’s got to be fixed.
It’s really a disgrace?
That’s how the system was designed to operate. And
it’s served as financial bedrock of retirement
security in this country for going on a century.
McCain’s Senate
voting
record shows he
wants to gamble with hard-working American’s retirement
security by privatizing Social Security. Take a look at
McCain’s voting record
here
and compare it with the
voting record
of Sen.
Barack Obama.
Obama has stated he will not privatize Social Security
and will not cut benefits or raise the retirement age.
I believe there are a
number of ways we can make Social Security solvent
that do not involve placing these added burdens on
our seniors.
"Return to Sender". Stop receiving the pension if it is such a disgrace and
return it. Senator, you are the disgrace.

The All-Star Game. Everyone is mumbling about how to fix this blessed event.
Stop your complaining. Running out of players? This is the fault of the
manager(s). The game is not a beauty contest. Not to long ago, pitchers pitched
three innings to start the game and players often did not get into the game. Too
bad. Being named to the game is the important thing. The managers are at fault.
Play the game to win and you won't run out of players. Funny, this never, ever,
ever, ever happened prior to 2002 - No accident that it was under the watch of a
"player's manager" - Joe Torre and Bob Brenly. I remember not too long ago that
every year, one player on each side played the entire game, obviously a position
player. What happened to that? These players are multi-million dollar players.
If the game does mean something, then play the game to win.

Being that I am home right now, I have the opportunity to watch a lot of boob
tube material and low and behold, I caught of bit of C-Span 2 today. I heard a
great deal on the FISA Bill and another bill - At the end, I heard Senator Chris
Dodd of Connecticut finish with his remarks and I could not get over the
simplicity of his argument.
The deal is this: over the last five years, the Bush Administration has been
listening in to our conversations, reading our e-mail's and faxes due to some
telecommunication companies bending over backwards to support our present
administration's efforts in the War on Terror. Some companies did not provide
the information simply because the present administration did not provide a
federal warrant, namely from the FISA court. Since 1978, 18,700 warrants have
been requested by the Federal government and only 5 - - - FIVE have
been denied.
The Bush administration requested the information (phone calls, e-mail's,
faxes) and AT&T, Verizon among others, are believed
to have given The Administration the aforementioned information without a
warrant as the law now requires and frankly, has always required.
Now, the FISA bill will be granting immunity to the companies that provided
information from lawsuits. After-the-fact-immunity.
Some claim that since the Bush Administration provided the documentation, the
companies are safe and this bill only makes it official.
If the actions were legal, the courts would simply throw out these lawsuits,
would they not?
Why didn't the Bush Administration make use of the FISA court with the 18695
positives? Maybe because it was illegal to begin with?
No immunity - the companies that violated the law should have to pay. Were
they being patriotic? The companies that did not provide the information were
unpatriotic? Lets see? To be patriotic, one must have a law written to protect
your actions AFTER you did what you did? So for the ones that did not provide
the info, should these companies be fined, thrown in jail for being unpatriotic?
The political argument is this: Companies (Money) are being sued and now they
want protection. No accident that Republicans are defending the companies that
need immunity while the people that were harmed want their cases properly
adjudicated (People, US) - The Democrats.
(CNN)
Adjudicated - Thanks Alexa, without you, I wouldn't have been able to use
this word.

Hey: you greedy bastards! Stop crying. You bought the house, now shut up and
lament to the walls cause no one gives a damn.
C.E.'s and Techs: what purpose do you serve? I understand that
America can not employee everyone and instead established a modern welfare
system and all, but really, why do you even take in breaths? What common good do
you do? You certainly aren't pumping up the economy. Hell, I make you dumb
bastards spend money. Think it ain't so? Just think, every time you people get
pissed because a simple clerk outthinks you, you start ranting and raving about
your lot in life - you usually have to go out and buy food to fill the empty
holes in your heads to replenish the air you just spent in screaming.
I know, I've been told to stop and those that have told me are correct: You
wanna know why? The greatest cause of global warming is the gas emitted from the
bovine population of the world. I have been told to "cool it" because I set you
off, and in doing so, you release an even greater amount of toxic gases that
hurts our mother earth. I am to blame, in part, to global warming. I am.
I had no idea that I alone could cure global warming. I alone . . .
Nope, it's just too fun to stop.
I am to blame. I am not even sure if I am sorry about causing global warming.

By the way, I had Chicken Pozole this morning for breakfast. Good stuff and
it is real easy to make. Open the can and cook. Does it get better than this? My
wonderful spouse doesn't think so . . . in regards to making breakfast on Sunday
morning.
Hey Sterling: I've got a shout out for you: Thanks for the Rice and Chili
Beans! You have the picture to prove it, I had it yesterday - good stuff!
A month ago, I was shopping in Sears and I was asked by the cashier if I
wished to apply to a Sears card and I politely said no. Being who I am, I
couldn't leave it as simply as that. I always have something to say, something
to comment and sure enough, I added to this simple, one-word response.
"No, thanks - I don't want to get into debt. I have no debt and I just save
for what I want."
"Well, that isn't good. That means that you can't get what you want right
away."
Right away? Can't get what I want? Are you serious? I had no desire to get
into a deep financial conversation with this clerk that was making a commission
on my desires to accumulate debt. Further, I simply just wanted to ask her: Why?
Why do you want to have debt?
Frankly, I don't know the averages, but it seems to me that more than half of
all Americans carry some sort of debt (not including property secured by a trust
deed - Mortgages for the rest of you). Often, this debt is for purchases made
for food (groceries and take-out) and entertainment.
America, the great, is doing the exact same thing: America is living beyond
its means. Debtor nations do not do well in the world. America is no longer the
richest nation in the world. How can it be when it owes approximately 9.2
Trillion dollars? By the way, don't give me any crap that we owe it to ourselves
so we really, in fact, do not owe 9.2 Trillion dollars. We owe that money and
one day, we are going to have to make good on that debt. Period. America's
insatiable thirst for cheap consumer goods is what is killing us.
In 2002, America's revolving consumer debt grew to 730 Billion, up from 554
Billion in 1997.
We are responsible for our individual debt, but what about the national debt?
Our children and their children will have to pay for it. This stimulus stuff is
bad. What do you intend to buy? Going to Wal-Mart? If you spend your money at
Wal-Mart, where do you think you money is going? Three places, actually. One:
Cost of goods. These are the items that are shipped in from China. Two: The
shareholders of Wal-Mart. Three: The employees. As usual, the least paid is
always at the end of the line.
Savings are at an all-time low. We spend, spend, spend and we do not save. If
we went back to saving, our economy would actually be stronger. While America is
the engine for the world, that engine will be running out of gas because it will
be drowning in debt.
Control your spending. Stop buying the stuff you don't need.

A shout out to the middle earth (err, I mean, middle office) people: Your
FRIEND passed away. A tragic loss. Stop fussing about why he died or how he died
. . . you seem to have nothing better to do. Stop tearing him down. He passed
away and his family is not talking - get over it. If you really want to know how
or why he passed away, go ask him yourselves - the residents who pay your
salary sure would support you and appreciate you in this endeavor.

America is quickly becoming a debtor nation and all through-out history,
debtor nations do not drive world policy, but are recipients of other nations'
policies. The Housing crisis is something that was brought on by greed
and stupidity - which, could very well be one in the same. Our economy is going
to hell in a hand-basket. Bear-Stearns is bought out by JPMorgan-Chase for $2.00
a share - The FIFTH largest investment bank in America is bought-out for $236
Million? Why is it that under the Bush Administration, wages are down,
unemployment is up and our economy is faltering, yet the top 1% increased their
wealth by 100%?
If we have the largest, most dynamic, richest economy of the world, why must
we open our markets to others? John Edwards, where are you?

President Bush to speak tomorrow on lots of stuff . . . is anyone listening
anymore?
February 24, 2008
Well, Castro is no longer president. The Navy shoots down a dangerous
satellite. The American Embassy is attacked in Serbia and The Lakers beat the
Suns on Wednesday. Brazil wants to join OPEC and Russia is all hyper about
trying to re-establish itself. Anyone receive the Lyndon LaRouche propaganda on
their door-step this week? Baseball is just a few weeks away and our attention
will turn our nation's past-time. Did you know that the Exxon-Valdez case on
punitive damages is just now going before the U.S. Supreme Court?
February 18, 2008
Well, it is a wonderful President's Day Holiday! Having a four-day weekend

This past week, President Bush signed into law the economic relief bill of
