Get Off Your Arse and Vote - This Means YOU!

November 2 is right around the corner and once again, the prevalent issue is the political scene. Now if you are an American Citizen, I ask you this? Why aren't you interested and why won't you vote? I will be offering donuts again this year, as I always do but the point is simple, why do you live in this country and NOT exercise your right to vote?

Please don't even say that you have THAT right given to you by the constitution . . . you lazy, stupid person. Are you that so self-absorbed in your own stupid little life that you choose not to vote because you have that right? Do you have family? Friends? I have two friends and I vote for them, how can you be so stupid and not vote? When you don't vote, you hurt everyone else that does vote and is trying to make democracy work. If you do not vote, you let the powerful interest groups win all the time. Just go ahead, roll over - for that matter, remain the slave that you are to them. Don't think so? If you don't vote, you let them win every time.

I am not asking you to vote Republican or Democrat or Independent for that matter, I am reminding you of your obligation to vote. People died to give you that right and some are doing so today, so that we can all enjoy the fruits of our freedom. Don't insult them by sitting on the sidelines. If you feel where they are now is wrong, why do you sit idly by? Didn't ask them to do? Fine, they didn't, but they are still doing it for us anyway. Why insult them, why spit in their face by being dumb?

We are in a battle against the forces that want to control our lives, jobs, and freedoms. The special interests want to keep the Patriot Act in effect, want to deny us public education, health insurance, the right to unionize, the right to have a chance in America by spending the future of our retirement monies and the monies of our brothers, sisters, and children. The redistribution of wealth is wrong when it takes away from those that don't even speak up, but if they chose to remain silent by not voting, then so be it - let them live this way. What will happen when the debt becomes so massive that all the money in our federal budget will be only for debt payments? Could happen, if Bush stays in office another four years and he continues to spend at the rate he is spending, he will double the deficit by the time he is out of office. He is spending tomorrow's money for yesterday's purchases.

People are counting on you not voting and they laugh at you when you don't - enjoy being the butt of a joke, because by not voting, you are already a butthead.
