Nope. Don't care. Don't want to add anything. Too much work already.

Well, we've updated this site with lots of buttons and color - we sure would
love to hear what you think about it.
I have been away from work for three weeks and I am really looking forward to
returning. I am also, really looking forward to having a car accident too. Both
cost time and money.

Seems that presidential candidate John McCain calls Social Security a
disgrace and yet he is still receiving his monthly pension in the amount of:
$1929.75 (2007 figure based on total received of: $23157.00).
Americans have got to
understand that we are paying present-day retirees
with the taxes paid by young workers in America
today. And that’s a disgrace. It’s an absolute
disgrace and it’s got to be fixed.
It’s really a disgrace?
That’s how the system was designed to operate. And
it’s served as financial bedrock of retirement
security in this country for going on a century.
McCain’s Senate
voting
record shows he
wants to gamble with hard-working American’s retirement
security by privatizing Social Security. Take a look at
McCain’s voting record
here
and compare it with the
voting record
of Sen.
Barack Obama.
Obama has stated he will not privatize Social Security
and will not cut benefits or raise the retirement age.
I believe there are a
number of ways we can make Social Security solvent
that do not involve placing these added burdens on
our seniors.
"Return to Sender". Stop receiving the pension if it is such a disgrace and
return it. Senator, you are the disgrace.

The All-Star Game. Everyone is mumbling about how to fix this blessed event.
Stop your complaining. Running out of players? This is the fault of the
manager(s). The game is not a beauty contest. Not to long ago, pitchers pitched
three innings to start the game and players often did not get into the game. Too
bad. Being named to the game is the important thing. The managers are at fault.
Play the game to win and you won't run out of players. Funny, this never, ever,
ever, ever happened prior to 2002 - No accident that it was under the watch of a
"player's manager" - Joe Torre and Bob Brenly. I remember not too long ago that
every year, one player on each side played the entire game, obviously a position
player. What happened to that? These players are multi-million dollar players.
If the game does mean something, then play the game to win.

Being that I am home right now, I have the opportunity to watch a lot of boob
tube material and low and behold, I caught of bit of C-Span 2 today. I heard a
great deal on the FISA Bill and another bill - At the end, I heard Senator Chris
Dodd of Connecticut finish with his remarks and I could not get over the
simplicity of his argument.
The deal is this: over the last five years, the Bush Administration has been
listening in to our conversations, reading our e-mail's and faxes due to some
telecommunication companies bending over backwards to support our present
administration's efforts in the War on Terror. Some companies did not provide
the information simply because the present administration did not provide a
federal warrant, namely from the FISA court. Since 1978, 18,700 warrants have
been requested by the Federal government and only 5 - - - FIVE have
been denied.
The Bush administration requested the information (phone calls, e-mail's,
faxes) and AT&T, Verizon among others, are believed
to have given The Administration the aforementioned information without a
warrant as the law now requires and frankly, has always required.
Now, the FISA bill will be granting immunity to the companies that provided
information from lawsuits. After-the-fact-immunity.
Some claim that since the Bush Administration provided the documentation, the
companies are safe and this bill only makes it official.
If the actions were legal, the courts would simply throw out these lawsuits,
would they not?
Why didn't the Bush Administration make use of the FISA court with the 18695
positives? Maybe because it was illegal to begin with?
No immunity - the companies that violated the law should have to pay. Were
they being patriotic? The companies that did not provide the information were
unpatriotic? Lets see? To be patriotic, one must have a law written to protect
your actions AFTER you did what you did? So for the ones that did not provide
the info, should these companies be fined, thrown in jail for being unpatriotic?
The political argument is this: Companies (Money) are being sued and now they
want protection. No accident that Republicans are defending the companies that
need immunity while the people that were harmed want their cases properly
adjudicated (People, US) - The Democrats.
(CNN)
Adjudicated - Thanks Alexa, without you, I wouldn't have been able to use
this word.
