I went back and I viewed some coverage that I had
taped on 9-11. I have to say that viewing the news coverage opened a
healing wound on my confidence.
What cut me was that I remembered that our lives are
fragile. We must also recall that we need to cherish those people that
we love (or at least can bear hanging around with), for the simple
reason that they might not be there to enjoy (or at least borrow a
dollar from).
I suggest that we remember the dead by expressing the
freedoms that Al-Queda fears.
Frank Herbert once said "FEAR is a MIND
KILLER." Let's not live in fear. Those chumps in Al-Queda and
their allies want us to keel over. Let's fight back with freedom.
